Weight Benches – Simple but Effective Fitness Tool

It’s amazing how many gizmos, thingamajigs and fads come and go in the fitness world. Everyone is always promising the latest, greatest, quickest, fastest, easiest way to get you completely transformed from sedentary office worker/couch potato to the swimsuit cover model or the guy in the underwear ads.  Come on… You can really be serious now can you? While there are certainly new discoveries, and research going on regarding effective exercise techniques, is really not that much that’s new under the sun. In fact, if you really want something that works, why not go after something that’s been working for years and years? One of the most basic pieces of exercise equipment is the weight bench. Between barbell bench presses, dumbbell flies, shoulder presses, at workouts… the list goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and ignore all the “shiny – shiny” stuff is being pushed at you all the time. Basic weights and weight benches can take you a lot farther than you might imagine.
