Improved Hair Implants For Women

In order to effectively treat male pattern baldness, hair implant procedures have been used for many years. As a matter of fact, the initial type of hair implants was available back in the 1950’s. The only problem was the techniques during this period could not produce a naturally looking outcome. Because of this, the term “hair plugs” was how people referred to the procedure done where a round section of scalp was taken from the area where hair growth was still occurring, such as the back or posterior part of the head. Then, this section was implanted into the balding area of the crown or to the area of the receding hair line. The result was very unnatural looking because the plugged hairs were so obvious. As a matter of fact, most balding people would prefer to stay the way they were than to look more ridiculous with hair plugs.
