Summer Bedding Color Scheme

Bedding color schemes have a big influence on the look and feel of your bedroom as the bed is usually the focal point in the room.
If you want a summer color scheme for your room then think light. Light colors. Light fabrics. And plenty of natural light to be let in during the day. This helps make sure that the backdrop for your bed is right.
It is best to have neutral flooring – sanded and varnished natural floorboards or parquet flooring would work. Neutral beige carpeting would be fine too.
Curtains or blinds and walls should be neutral too. Cream would work well here.
Choose plain cream or light sandy beige bed linen which has a great texture to add interest without too much color. Cut-work, applique or embroidery in the same cream color (or a golden sandy shade) would work well. Add further texture with a cream or beige throw and some interesting cushions in shades of pale gold and beige.
