Pure and Organic Maple Candy: How Real?

Many have spread an agreeable word about maple candy and all of its confections being organic. But thinking of the modern agricultural trend in the farming industry, can someone really believe that pure and never been chemically treated food does exist?

One thing that makes Maple confections a qualifying organic is the process it usually has to go through. It needs only a necessary amount of heat to transform the juicy sap into a sweet delicacy and can remain hugely nutritious as it never undergoes further refining—this in the case of maple sugar. Sap-gathering also speaks of non-chemical treatment as it requires only a bucket or a systematic network of pipeline to collect the sap.

Probably, the doubt is drawn on how farmers nurture the trees. Of course, many old-school farmers can succumb to organic farming but reality is hard to ignore. Pesticides, fertilizers, and even formaldehyde are apparently being used in sugar bush. To determine which pure Canadian maple candy is from not, look for a symbol that the product has been tested and certified.
