LPN Jobs | Shift Working Explained
If you are particularly interested in the role of the Licensed Practical Nurse, perhaps more commonly referred to as the LPN then you are likely looking for potential for employment in hospitals for you initial LPN jobs.
However, if this is an option then it is likely that you would be looking at working on a shift basis and therefore nursing and elderly care homes may also be of interest to you. The key to thinking about shift working is to think that in any one working week there are three x 8 hours shifts in any one day, resulting in twenty one x 8 hour shifts in a working week. You would normally expect to work five x 8 hour shifts.
If you are determined to qualify as an LPN and are looking for LPN jobs in hospitals or care homes then you should be prepared for this type of working.
