Is Your Bedroom Ready for Hotel Bedding?

Looking for a fresh modern style of bedding to update the master suite? The answer may come in a hotel bedding collection. Hotel bedding, you say? Yes, and you do not have to move into a hotel to enjoy this crisp look. It can be brought home as a bedding ensemble.

When the idea of hotel bedding was first brought to our attention, most shrugged it off as something less than a novel idea. Upon closer examination, it was discovered that this new name for a style of bed linens has great merit.

First of all, the quality of most hotel bedding puts it in the luxury category. For those who have always dreamed of experiencing a night in a five star hotel, it may be less expensive than one would think. For the high thread count, silky cotton luxury, and sleek design, one can expect to pay far less for an entire ensemble than it would cost for a single night in a hotel bedroom at a top of the line hotel.

The sheets are known for thread counts from 400 to well over a thousand. The comforters are smooth and soft displaying one of the two basic designs. The primary design consists of a narrow panel that forms a rectangle around the top of the bed, as if outlining the bed area. The color combinations are varied. For example, a set may be comprised of a chocolate outline on a tan background, or silver outline on grey. In other cases, rather than select a color combination that would almost blend, the colors could be black and white, navy blue and pastel blue, or red on white. In fact, almost any color combination can be purchased.

The other design often used in the hotel bedding collection consists of overlapping circles in colors separated by one or two shades on a slightly darker background. While this is an attractive pattern, most prefer the more linear design as it offers a very clean and crisp look with modern appeal.
