How I Use My Mini Greenhouse

Most gardeners are familiar with greenhouses and the benefits they offer. If you are a gardening enthusiast yourself, chances are that you know a great deal about them and what they can do. Not only do these structures provide protection from the often wild effects of Mother Nature, but they also help to provide a stable environment for the plants contained within. A smaller version of the traditional greenhouse, known as the mini greenhouse, serves a similar function, but without the cost and space required to build a larger structure. Mini greenhouses can be used effectively even for gardeners that don’t know much about indoor gardening. As you’ll learn in the following article, I’ve been able to produce some excellent results using a structure that I recently purchased.

I have always wanted to own a mini greenhouse, as I consider myself to be an avid gardener. Luckily, there was a sale at my local garden center recently, which meant that I was finally able to get one of my own. I ended up purchasing a free standing structure that was large enough for me to walk into and tend to my plants. It came with a heater and thermostat combination, allowing me to grow plants at any time of the year. It has been 8 months since I purchased the greenhouse and I have had no regrets since. Prior to owning a greenhouse, my orchids would not flower. This was unfortunate since orchids are my favorite plants to grow. With the greenhouse, I can now grow my orchids and I was even able to re-flower several of them. By growing plants in a greenhouse, it’s easy to provide the ideal conditions for my orchids, and I was even able to provide the perfect lighting by applying some greenhouse shading material.

If you are in the market for a mini greenhouse, try to find a local garden center that carries a variety of models. Alternatively, you can browse online to see the huge selection that’s available through a variety of independent retailers.
