Teaching English in Asia can be a very rewarding experience and teaching in Korea is about the best place to make money in all of Asia. When teaching in Korea, you have the option of teaching in either a public or private school. Both offer great incentives, so which one is right for you? Figuring this out can seem like a daunting task, but with a little bit of research you can discover which one is the best situation for you.

Private schools, also known as Hagwons, have the most teaching opportunities available. There are many different Hagwons, ranging from a small rural Hagwon with only one or two teachers, to a large franchised school with many teachers. Hagwons teach students of all ages. Hagwons offer some of the most attractive employment packages for EFL teachers.

They have flexible hours, great salaries, and free return flights and accommodations. Private schools are run like businesses, and so have many different work schedules available and you also have the opportunity for overtime work. So if you want to make as much money as possible and work in a structured system, a private school would be best for you.

Public schools are a bit harder to get into. You may need more experience or the addition of a TEFL course certificate. Public schools offer a more western style teaching schedule, with evenings and weekends off. If you are hired to work at a public school, you will work directly for the Korean Ministry of Education. You will also be the only foreign teacher at the school.

Your class sizes will be a bit larger than in private schools, but you will have a few less teaching hours a week for the same amount of money. Public schools also tend to give more paid vacation, and also give bonuses to teachers who choose to teach in rural areas. If you want a more traditional teaching experience, than working in a public school is probably for you.

#1. Ideal for babies that kick their blanket off at night
The baby cannot kick off a bag especially when you get the ones with zipper locks on them. Of course they have zipper protectors too so your baby will not get scratched or annoyed by the zipper. The zipper locks come in handy when you have an older child that learns how to use a zipper. Babies normally don’t have this problem.

#2 Ideal for reducing the risk of SIDS
SIDS stands for sudden infant death syndrome. It is a horrible that that happens. It is rare when it happens but unfortunately it does happen. They don’t know exactly what causes SIDS but they do know some possible contributing factors. One of them being you baby gets its blanket over its head and starts what is called, re-breathing. This is when the child is breathing in its own carbon dioxide and cannot get enough fresh oxygen.
Another way it reduces the risk of SIDS is by keeping the baby on its back. It is harder for a baby to roll over when it is in a baby sleeping bag.

#3 Great for transitioning from the swaddling phase
Transitioning a baby from being swaddled all the time to being not swaddled can sometimes be difficult. The baby sleeping bag helps out by giving the baby an environment that is similar to be swaddled but just not as tight.

#4 Ease of sleeping in unfamiliar environments
Using a baby sleeping bag sets the baby in a routine so when the bag gets put on the baby knows that it is time to go to bed. Routines are great and the bag helps out even when you are over at grandma and grandpa’s house. The baby recognizes the familiarity of the sleeping bag and in many cases will go right to sleep.

Sure, he could have gone into bankruptcy with his good name still intact, but he was particularly honest, and it would have been against his conscience to do something of that nature.
