A great solution to this problem is bringing along a camping bed. Camping beds come in many different shapes and sizes and there is more than likely one that will fit your budget and particular needs. There are simple, lightweight camping beds that fold up for easy storage and transport, and there are also heavy duty cot-like beds that are more comfortable but a bit bulkier. If weight is an issue then go with one of the light weight beds, but if not then a cot type camping bed would be fine.
