Best Bike Trainers
If you are in the market for a bike trainer this season then you are likely confused by the overwhelming number of choices. All you want to know is what are the best bike trainers on the market and how much will they cost. We’re here to help you with that.
As an avid cyclist who despises the cold weather, I’ve had the good fortune to ride just about every bike trainer there is at one time or another. I will admit that I am a bit of a gear snob, meanging I like to get what I pay for when it comes to my cycling equipment and if that means I pay a touch more to get good stuff then so be it.
This is especially important when it comes to bike trainers. If you haven’t ridden an indoor bike trainer then you have NO idea how mind numbingly dull it can be. It is hard enough to stay atop a bike trainer but it gets MUCH harder if that bike trainer isn’t a good enough quality to feel good riding and to get a good workout from. The last thing you want to be doing is hopping on and off trying to adjust something or tighten something. You just want it to work.
In my opinion, without question, the best bike trainer on the market is the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine. This bike trainer has consistently proven itself to be a top performer that works great, feels great and produces a superb quality ride. It’s a fluid trainer but the design of the Kurt Kinetic does not allow it to leak. The fluid chamber is completely sealed and there is no seal or shaft to leak. A great design and a super bike trainer.
There are other high quality bike trainers out there for sure, but the Kurt Kinetic is by far my favorite.
