A Guide to San Antonio Discount Tire Stores

Tires are one of those things that no one really likes replacing. They are expensive, confusing with all of the different brands and styles, and there are so many stores out there to buy them from. All in all, it is pretty frustrating process if you do not know your options.

When it comes to styles and brands, I can not really help you there. I know that since we live in San Antonio, we can go with basic tires and skip all of the all-weather or rain tires. What I can help you with is finding a San Antonio tire store to get a great discount.

The first place you should do your research is online. You will be able to find some great deals and coupons from many of the major tire shops that have stores in your area. The main focus of these sites is to offer you discounts and deals so that they can get more foot traffic in their area stores.

You will also be able to find websites that sell discount tires directly to consumers. You can expect to save anywhere from 15% – 30% off the retail price of your new tire purchase. The only issue with this approach is that it costs a lot of money to have four new tires shipped to your home.

The second place you should visit are the major tire store retailers in your area. Stores like Goodyear, Sears, Costco, Sam’s Club, and WalMart are good places to start. They have a wide variety of tires at various price points and often run sales and specials. Plus, you can always go online and find a coupon on a set of great tires for your car.

The last place to check out is your local San Antonio tire shop. These are generally tire stores that have one or two locations in the San Antonio area. They operate on busy corners and sell everything from custom tire rims to used tractor tires. The benefit of doing business with a local player is that you can negotiate the price of your car tires, where in a larger store, that simply is not possible.
